Now Hiring General Laborers

Preston Construction LLC is seeking to employ people who want to make a career and grow with our company, prioritizing quality and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of the trade in all phases of construction. Positions are available for both experienced and non-experienced applicants. Hourly wage starts at $17 per hour and increases depending on experience.

Pay Frequency:  Bi-Weekly

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform general labor

  • Heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

  • Proper attire such as work boots are required

  • Integrity and strong work ethic

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Some related experience or skilled labor experience a plus

  • 10 Hour OSHA Card a plus

Job Duties:

  • Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts

  • Digging & filling holes

  • Demolition work

  • Loading & unloading building and construction materials

  • Framing of walls, floors and ceilings

  • Drywall tape & texture

  • Assisting in the building or construction of various things

  • Build and install cabinets

  • Set doors and trim

  • Cleaning and preparing a jobsite

  • Some specialized tasks may require on-the job training
